Who we are
We are a small emerging 100% black owned company based in Pietermaritzburg KwaZulu Natal. The company was registered by Mr and Mrs Chili. Mr Zothini Chili heads the company as chairman. The name M2yi is encrypted from its origin Mthuyi which is the praising name of Chili family. It is named as such to avoid mispronunciations.
The company is operating with official licences for designs and management, we are safety conscious with the application of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS Act) and we are quality sensitive thus striving to adhere to ISO 9001 compliance.
Each project undertaken will have its project file with managed and recordable access control to ensure that the project files are retrievable from archive when required.
Our intention is to grow until we provide services not only in South Africa but globally in the engineering and project management field.
The definition and explanation of our logo
The bluish logo which resembles “boat” is embracive of the Project Management approach, it starts by drawing lines from the left moving to the right. The lines split into a Y (horizontal Y), these lines mean that at any time the project either simple or complex, big or small can take wrong or right directions that will make the project succeed or fail.
The project will be on the wrong direction when it does not fulfil the requirements that it was initially intended for. The project will be taking the wrong direction when it is running behind schedule with insufficient resources or optimised resources or unmanaged delays in the project process. This is the same case when there is poor quality that is deviated from the set standard.
Contrary to that the project will be on the right direction when its direction is the one that will fulfil what it was intended for within all the set constraints including the policies, process and procedures of that specific company (client).
Regardless of the direction (positive or negative) M2yi through the participation of all stakeholders will be able to mitigate all risks as per risks register. M2yi will be like the Ship-Captain steering the direction of the project to the latest approved direction as required.
